This is how fantastic the detail on this piece is... It's obviously stunningly gorgeous, with amazing color and depth in the dark green and browns against her pale skin and sparkling red eyes.
But when a chick clicks on a piece of art and goes, "Holy crap, how do I get that hairdo?" THAT'S impressive. I don't usually "shop" comics for my next hairstyle, that's what the style magazines are for... I might have to revise my approach.
hmmm... a bit of a lost opportunity here for a Christmas print IMO. You could have drawn Lady M in a nice red and white furred coat with a victorian style muff and then given it the steampunk twist as well... here, apart from the green sleeves and the red background, this doesn't show christmas at all
but that's just me and my opinion and what do I know..? I just colour stuff...
I have to admit, I thought the same thing when I first saw this one. The covers have been so awesome and highly detailed. The expectations for the pros are extremely high it must be hard to reach or exceed every time but I'm a bit surprised at the simplicity in this one, it's still a sweet piece.
